Federal College for Aviation Technology
The Federal College for Aviation Technology is a public school of the state of Austria in Langenlebarn on the premises of the Brumowski Air Base .
General
The Federal College for Aviation Technology accepts around 48 new students every year. The school, unique in Austria and Europe, accepts students from all parts of Austria. Therefore, there is a boarding school run by the armed forces on the barracks site , which is part of the Air Force and Air Defense Force School (FlFlATS). The boarding school was subordinate to the Army Supply School (HVS) until 2008.
education
The four-year school education is completed by around 25 students each year.
The students of the Federal College for Aviation Technology can take additional examinations from the 2nd grade to obtain the EASA Part-66 certification (regulations for the licensing of maintenance personnel), which entitles them to work in international aviation. The curriculum was adapted to the requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
