Federal initiative at home instead of at home

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The federal initiative at home instead of home was founded on December 1, 2006 in Berlin . Against the background of demographic change and the increasing dissatisfaction of disabled people with their possibilities for self-determination, the initiative calls for other ways of living for people in need of care and disabled people in Germany. Following the example of the Scandinavian countries, all people should have the same right to a life in their home environment.

Co-initiators and first signatories are e.g. E.g. the mountaineer and author Reinhold Messner , the talk show host and producer Alfred Biolek , the member of the Bundestag Silvia Schmidt , the former Rhineland-Palatinate State Secretary Richard Auernheimer, the former mayor of Bremen Henning Scherf , the psychologist Klaus Dörner , the nursing expert Klaus Fussek and many other active and committed professionals, celebrities and those affected.
