Federal Association of Forwarding and Logistics
The Bundesverband Spedition und Logistik (BSL) was an important German business and employers association in the freight forwarding and logistics sector based in Bonn . In 1881 the predecessor organization Verein Deutscher Spediteure was founded in Leipzig . According to its own information, the association included around 3,000 companies.
On April 11, 2003, it merged with the Association of German Vehicle Freight Forwarders (VKS) to form the German Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association (DSLV).
On April 27, 2015 there was a merger with the German Forwarding and Logistics Association (DSLV).
