The tanker collided on May 25, 2010 with the freighter Waily in the Strait of Singapore , 13 km southeast of Changi Air Base East . The tanker had about 62,000 tons of oil on board. According to the captain, 2,000 tons of oil were released. About 20 ships were involved in the cleaning campaign.
