The castle Arnold Mountain , also Veste Arnold Berg called one's Outbound castle about 400 meters northwest of the court Arnold Mountain near Spöck , in the municipality of Ostrach in the district of Sigmaringen in Baden-Württemberg .

history

In the 12th century the "Veste Arnoldsberg" was an imperial estate . At the end of the 13th century, the estates around Ostrach were sold piece by piece to the Salem monastery by the fiefdoms or their servants with the consent of King Rudolf I of Habsburg . In 1324 the entire property of the parishes of Ostrach, together with Burgweiler, came to the Salem monastery.

Of the former castle complex, of which nothing further is known, only the castle hill remains.
