The Burg Nardaran is a castle on the peninsula Absheron in Nardaran was the fixing chain on the peninsula, the part. It is one of the best preserved castles in Apsheron. The castle was built in 1301 by the builder Mahmud ibn Saad .

Castle complex

The five-meter-thick walls of the castle almost form a square, with round bastions at the corners . A corridor with a parapet runs along the wall, pierced every one and a half meters by loopholes . In the middle of the courtyard is a three- story residential tower , the top floor of which was used for defense. The spiral staircase begins on the first floor, the rooms are closed off by stone vaults. The walls of the tower are plastered.
