The castle Uerdingen is a castle in Krefeld district Uerdingen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

In the 14th century, the castle was probably built by the Archbishop of Cologne , Heinrich III. by Virneburg and together with Linn Castle represented a strong fortification of the territory of the Electorate of Cologne in the north.

In 1839 the castle came into private ownership and was rebuilt in the existing late classicist form.
