Stromberg Castle Stage
The Burgbühne is an open-air theater in Stromberg in the Warendorf district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The steps of the pilgrimage church Heilig Kreuz serve as a venue . In front of it there is space for 691 spectators.
history
1925 beat the theater people Oelder Office Mayor Hermann Johenning the use of electricity Berger Burg Square as open-air stage in front. With the play everyone from Hugo von Hofmannsthal was met with a positive response and it evolved with the castle stage Stromberg an amateur theater, which still exists today. The stage is used in the summer months, usually with a children's play and a sophisticated staging for adults.
