The Oberleipe castle ruins in Lipa Górna , Poland, are partly rebuilt castle ruins.
history
The first castle at the present-day location probably dates from the 13th century. In the 17th century the castle was rebuilt, but partly demolished again in 1821. From 1834, Freiherr von Stillfried-Rattonitz had a new building built, leaving the ruins of the previous building. These rubble reveal a square kitchen with a chimney, some vaulted rooms and a Renaissance portal. The outer bailey dates from the 14th century and was expanded in a neo-Gothic style in the 19th century. After being destroyed as a result of the Second World War , the ruins were renovated from 1973 onwards.
