The Möllenhagen castle wall is a Slavic castle wall in the middle of Möllenhagen in the Mecklenburg Lake District on Burgwallstrasse. The round system with a diameter of about 80 meters was built in the 8th and 9th centuries. Century on a natural hill on the edge of a damp meadow. Who lived here and when exactly this hilltop castle was abandoned is not known, but it is very likely that it belonged to the Tollensian tribal association . Today you can only see a grass-covered castle hill in the middle of the village. The wall was leveled and there are no typical ramparts here. Nothing can be seen of the former water-rich surroundings either. An information sign on site gives a little information about the ground monument .
