Burnt Oak is an above-ground London Underground station in the London Borough of Barnet . It is located in Travel Zone 4 on Watling Avenue. In 2013, 3.61 million passengers used this station served by the Northern Line .

The line between Hendon Central and Edgware had already been opened on August 18, 1924, but the commissioning of the station was delayed until October 27, 1924. At the beginning it was still called Burnt Oak (Watling) ; The architect of the station building was Stanley Heaps .
