Butterfly is the name of a mini roller coaster in the form of a shuttle coaster produced by the company Sunkid Heege in Bassenheim , Rhineland-Palatinate , of which 82 systems have been delivered since 1989 and which are set up in numerous smaller amusement parks in Germany. The butterfly aerial tramway is available in two versions: Standard and XL. In the standard version it reaches a height of 6.1 meters and in the XL version 7.5 m. No special staff is required for operation. After inserting coins and pressing the start button, the gondola is pulled up on a 10 m long rail and notched there. Then the gondola goes down and on the other, same side up again. The facility is somewhat similar to the expansion of a halfpipe roller coaster, only it is much smaller. The pendulum process of the gondola ends by itself when the positional energy has been converted into friction. This is completed after six to eight pendulum movements. Children from the age of seven can use the track alone.
