C-ITS
C-ITS stands for “Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems”.
With the help of digital technologies, vehicles should inform each other about traffic and especially dangerous situations. If a vehicle with its sensors detects a condition that is important for other road users, e.g. B. obstacles, traffic jams, slippery ice, aquaplaning , then it makes this observation available via data exchange.
The vehicles can react to an event in a coordinated manner, e.g. B. evade or brake.
