Katarina Madovčik reads at the 2014 Frankfurt Book Fair

CK Miller is the collective pseudonym of the Swiss writers Christina Casanova and Katarina Madovčik .

Live and act

The two authors had already published several detective novels individually . After discussing the philosophy and psychology of crime, they came up with the idea of writing a crime thriller together. Shortly afterwards they developed the plot of their book and had the likable Zurich investigator Carlo Pfister with Italian roots come into being.
