CADAM

CADAM ( C omputer- A ugmented D esign A nd M anufacturing ) is a 1977 brought to market software for CAD . The product was approved by the American aerospace company Lockheed developed and was originally designed for IBM - mainframe determined. Later could Unix - workstations are used. IBM sold the software to customers in the aircraft industry. In 1983 CADAM Inc. was founded as an independent subsidiary of Lockheed Corporation. A variant of CADAM, called Micro CADAM, also ran on PCs under the DOS operating system .
