The Club Deportivo Sébaco is a football club from the city of Sébaco in northwest Nicaragua . The club is currently competing in the third-class Tercera division.

Club history

The association was founded in 2014 and was soon able to celebrate its first successes. Already in the 2015/2016 season they were promoted to the Primera Division , Nicaragua's top division. In the first half of the season ( Apertura ), the newcomer finished ninth and penultimate place. In 18 encounters, the club achieved only three wins, a total of eleven points were earned. In the second half of the season ( Clausura ), ninth place was again occupied with a record of two wins, five draws and eleven defeats. As planned, there would have been a relegation game against Chinandega FC , but on July 6, 2018 the Nicaraguan Association announced the forced relegation of CD Sébacos to the third division. The reason for this measure was the lack of salary payments to players and employees of the club.
