CERN Open Hardware License
CERN Open Hardware License ( OHL for short ) is a license for the provision of free hardware that was released by the CERN nuclear research center in March 2011. It is similar to the GNU General Public License and can be used free of charge by any interested user for their own projects. In July 2011 a revised version with the version number 1.1. published in the Open Hardware Repository , which is fully compatible with its predecessor and contains minor changes and improvements. In September 2013 version 1.2. released.
