history
The association was founded in 1940. His sporting success lies particularly in the first few years of its existence. From 1940 to 1943 he was able to qualify three times in a row for the Primeira Divisão and finished the 1942/43 season in fourth place. In the same period of time they were twice in the semi-finals and once in the quarter-finals of the Taça de Portugal . 1943/44 succeeded again in the cup qualifying for the round of 16. After that, there were no national sporting successes for over thirty years.
Only in 1978, 1981 and 1988 did the club take part in the Taça de Portugal again, but retired early. The club currently only has youth teams.
