CKYHS Group

The CKYH Alliance , now "The Green Alliance", is a shipping alliance consisting of the major liner shipping companies COSCO (China), K-Line (Japan), Yang Ming (Taiwan) and Hanjin Shipping (South Korea). The advantages for the customer include: a. a higher number of departures and a higher range of ports. In addition, a higher capacity utilization of the container ships within the alliance is achieved. The combined market share in 2007 was approx. 18% with 1,384,479  TEU (20-foot standard container). In 2013 the combined market share was 12%.

On March 1, 2014, the currently fourth largest liner shipping company Evergreen (market share 4.9%) was included in the alliance, the name is now CKYHE .

Other alliances are the Grand Alliance and the New World Alliance , which joined forces in 2012 to form the "G6 Alliance".
