The Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation ( Chinese  陽明 海運 , Pinyin Yáng Míng Hǎi Yǜn  - " Sunshine Sea Transport ") was founded in 1972 in Keelung , in the Republic of China on Taiwan , and is one of the world's largest transport companies. The shipping company Yang Ming offers worldwide container transport including various logistics services with Yes Logistics Corporation and Jing Ming Transport Company.

Yang Ming, headquartered in Keelung, owns and cooperates with container terminals in the USA , Europe and Taiwan . The container ship fleet consists of more than 100 ships (675,000 TEU fleet capacity), which offer a transport capacity of up to 14,220 TEU (standard ISO container, 20 feet) per ship . The annual transport performance is given as 5.23 million TEU. Bulk carriers complement the shipping company's fleet. In terms of the container capacity of its own ships, Yang Ming Line was ranked 8th worldwide.

Since March 2014, the shipping company has belonged to the CKYHE consortium ( COSCO , “K” Line , Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping , Evergreen Marine ). In May 2016 "The Alliance" was founded with Hapag-Lloyd , Nippon Yūsen , “K” Line, Hanjin Shipping and Mitsui OSK Lines .

Yang Ming has a total of 172 branches in over 70 countries. All worldwide shipping areas are offered.
