CSI is a video game series based on the US television series CSI: On the Trail of the Criminals . In the years from 2003 to 2004, the individual titles were developed by 369 Interactive before Telltale Games took over the development of the following games. The games are published by the French publisher Ubisoft .
A total of nine games for the original series CSI: Vegas , three for the first offshoot CSI: Miami and one for the second offshoot CSI: NY have been published.
Gameplay
Although published on various platforms, the game principle is basically the same for all games: As a crime scene investigator of a CSI unit of the US criminal investigation department, the player examines crime scenes and secures traces of the crime that has taken place in order to analyze and link them in the course of forensic investigations in the laboratory identify the perpetrator by questioning witnesses and suspects .
