The C Pfalz 75 was a two-axle 3rd class compartment car, which was built partly without braking devices and partly with a free-seat brake.

Constructive features

Underframe

Frame: mixed construction of rolled profiles and wood. The outer longitudinal beams were made of iron, the buffer beams and the cross beams were made of wood.

Drawbar: screw couplings , the drawbar was continuous and sprung in the middle.

Bumpers: The cars had rod buffers .

Drive: Truss axle holder, flat iron, short straight design. Slide axle bearings and wheel sets with spoked wheel bodies.

Brake: handbrake as a free seat brake

Car body

Shell: car body frame made of wood, clad on the outside with sheet metal and inside with wood. Side walls slightly drawn in on the underside, barrel roof. Raised brakeman's cab, accessible from both sides, with a flat arched roof. No transition on the front sides. Interior: a total of five 3rd class compartments, without toilet. The wagons had wooden slatted seats.

Heating: The vehicles had steam heating .

Ventilation: vent fans on the compartment doors above the windows.

Lighting: the lighting was done by gas, the storage container hung in the longitudinal direction of the frame, capacity 260 l.
