Cab chassis
Cab-Chassis or Chassis-Cab is a term from English and means chassis and cabin . It is a type of construction that is often found in medium and small trucks. It is understood to be a basic version of a vehicle that only consists of the driver's cab and the basic chassis. This means that there is no loading area or similar on the chassis frame behind the driver's cab.
These versions therefore allow special structures, for example for ambulances or fire engines , which can be retrofitted behind the driver's cab.
