The Cabo Espichel is a headland or a cape on the Portuguese Atlantic -Küste, about 40 km west of the city of Setubal and 45 km south of Lisbon , one to the lighthouse (built around 1790) and a monastery with the baroque sanctuary Nossa Senhora do Cabo and former pilgrims' accommodations are located.

The cape is the southern point for the funnel of the Tejo estuary. The counterpart on the north side is the Cabo da Roca .
