Celtic tribes in Scotland

The Caereni were a Celtic tribe in northern Scotland known only from Ptolemy's " Geographia " . From their general description and the location of their neighboring tribes it can be concluded that they inhabited the west coast of what is now Sutherland . Ptolemy does not name any of their cities or main settlements.
