The CIEPP - Caisse Inter-Entreprises de prévoyance professionnelle ( ZKBV - Inter- Company Fund for Occupational Pensions ), based in Geneva, is an autonomous Swiss pension fund . The joint venture, which is strongly anchored in western Switzerland, insures the staff of its affiliated small and medium-sized companies as well as self-employed people in the field of old-age provision under the 2nd pillar .

The pension fund was founded as an association in 1961 and converted into a cooperative in 1984 . With the entry into force of the first revision of the federal law on occupational old-age, survivors' and disability pensions, the CIEPP was converted into a foundation in 2005 . At the end of 2016, a total of 9,309 companies and self-employed people with 40,117 active insured persons and 4904 pensioners were affiliated. The investments amounted to 5.87 billion Swiss francs.

Legal bases

The legal basis is formed by the Federal Act on Occupational Old-Age, Survivors 'and Disability Pension Plans , the Federal Act on Freedom of Movement in Occupational Old-Age, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans and the associated ordinances. The CIEPP regulations are also part of the legal basis.

organization

The highest body is the foundation board . This is composed equally of five employer and employee representatives and is elected for four years. The day-to-day operations are managed by the two-person management.
