CalcStar is a spreadsheet from MicroPro Corp, introduced in 1981. In contrast to other programs of that time, it was operated using the keyboard commands known from WordStar. It was available both as a single application or as a package as an Office Suite with WordStar , MailMerge, DataStar and ReportStar.

Development history

In November 1981, the American company MicroPro, which was known for its word processor WordStar , presented the program for the CP / M operating system . From 1983 there was also a version for IBM PC, which from version 1.4 could also use the extended possibilities of the IBM PC XT.
