Calippo
Calippo is a brand of Langnese ice cream . Langnese brought out this ice cream in 1984, originally in the lemon flavor, and from spring 1985 in cherry and blood orange instead. The available flavors have changed several times over the years.
Calippo is a water ice that, unlike conventional water ice, is packed in a cardboard tube. When consumed, the ice cream is pressed out of the tube from below, according to the printed rhyming “instruction manual”: Press the tube below and lick the ice cream from above - up and down, again and again!
