Calpurnia was a Canadian indie rock band that formed in Vancouver in 2017 and broke up on November 8, 2019. The band consisted of Finn Wolfhard (vocals, guitar), Malcolm Craig (drums), Ayla Tesler-Mabe (guitar, vocals) and Jack Anderson (bass).

City Boy, the band's debut single, was released on March 7, 2018. They also released the single Greyhound on May 18, 2018 as their first single on record. The EP Scout was released on June 15, 2018.

Band history

Finn Wolfhard (2017)

The band was mainly led by Finn Wolfhard. Wolfhard met the drummer Malcolm Craig in 2014 during the filming of the music video Guilt Trip of PUP . Anderson joined the band when they were playing together for a charity event. Tesler-Mabe joined Anderson as a friend from Rock Camp. The band was officially founded in 2017 with the release of their cover song Wanted You (Twin Peaks).
