The Calvin crater is an impact crater in the field of Calvin Township in Cass County in the US state of Michigan .

The crater cannot be seen on the surface of the earth. He is about 30 to 120 meters below. Its diameter is 8.5 kilometers. The crater was discovered in 1987 by Randall Milstein of the Michigan Geological Survey while evaluating data from 100 test holes.

The age is estimated at 440 to 460 million years, so the Upper Ordovician .
