Camera Obscura (German band)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Camera Obscura was a German Krautrock - Ambient band, which in 1983 by Hans Niederberger (drums, keyboards), Urs Fuchs (bass) and Michael Peters (guitar) was founded in Kuerten near Cologne.

The first unpublished recordings of the trio were presented to the Cologne synthesizer specialist Matthias Becker in 1984. At his suggestion, the pieces at hand were re-recorded in his Original Sound West studio. Matthias Becker contributed keyboard sounds and became the fourth member of the band.
