Camillus Glynn

Camillus Glynn ( Irish Camillus Mac Fhloinn , born October 4, 1941 in Grehanstown , Killucan , County Westmeath ) is an Irish politician and since 1997 senator in the Seanad Éireann , the upper house of the Irish Parliament.

Glynn was a member of Westmeath County Council from 1979 until the dual mandates were abolished . From 1988 to 1989 and 1993 to 1994 he was its chairman. Glynn ran unsuccessfully in 1997 in the elections for the 28th Dáil Éireann , but was elected in the same year for the Fianna Fáil in the 21st Seanad Éireann.

Glynn is married and has two sons and two daughters.
