List of rose varieties

Camp David is a deep red rose variety. The hybrid tea was created in 1984 by Mathias Tantau jun. hybridized.

The rose variety forms almost black buds that lighten to carmine red as they open up. Compared to many other varieties, the color does not fade even in the sun. The flowers are lightly scented and about 13 cm in diameter. They keep their closed shape for a long time and grow individually, which makes them valued both as cut roses and in the garden. However, the rose was not brought onto the market in Germany and is better known in Australia.

The robust bushes have an average height of 1.5 m, are very weather and disease resistant and bloom in batches over the summer.
