Campino Milligan

Campino Milligan (* 1972 / 1973 in Berlin ) is a former US-American - German football player .

career

Milligan, who grew up partly in the United States , came to Germany at the age of seven, played for the Hamburg Blue Devils from 1996 to 2002 and during this time won three German championships with the team (1996, 2001, 2002) and Eurobowl - Winner (1996, 1997, 1998). He was used in the defensive line . In 2001 he became European champion with the German national team.

In 2002 Milligan, who worked as a fitness trainer, founded the football department at St. Pauli FC . The team was nicknamed St. Pauli Buccaneers ; he became their trainer. One of his protégés there was Paco Varol . In 2009 Milligan's team was awarded the Hamburg Citizens Prize. In 2013 the Buccaneers were dissolved.
