Campo dos Padres

The Campo dos Padres is a plateau in the Serra Geral in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina . Here are the highest peaks in the state: the Morro da Boa Vista with 1,827 m and the Morro da Igreja with 1,822 m. The Morro da Igreja is also the highest inhabited place in southern Brazil. The plain is also the headwaters of the Canoas and the Rio Tubarão . At its edge, the Campo dos Padres drops steeply by about 500 meters.
