The Diocese of Kayanga ( Latin : Dioecesis Kayanganus ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Kayanga in Tanzania .

history

Pope Benedict XVI founded the diocese on August 14, 2008 from cession of territory by the diocese Rulenge and subordinated it to the Archdiocese of Mwanza as a suffragan . Almachius Vincent Rweyongeza has been bishop since August 14, 2008 .
