Can Moragues
Can Moragues is a manor house in the Spanish municipality of Artà in the northeastern part of the Mediterranean island of Mallorca . It is used as a hotel .

The building is located in the northwest part of the old town of Artà, at the address Pou Nou 12 in a corner position on the streets Carrer del Pou Nou and Carrer Josep Sancho de la Jordana .
Architecture and history
Can Moragues was created in the 18th century. It was known as La Posada . The owners were the Moragues family, who also owned the Sos Sanxos country house , where they mostly lived. The family only moved from the country to the village in deep winter. At the beginning of the 20th century, the house developed into the focus of the family. Up to 20 people regularly lived in the building.
In 1998/99 it was converted into a small hotel with eight rooms.
