The Canadian Global Affairs Institute ( CGAI ; French Institute canadien des affaires mondiales , German "Canadian Institute for Global Affairs" , former Canadian Defense and Foreign Affairs Institute CDFAI ) is an independent, nonpartisan think tank ( english think tank ), headquartered in Calgary in Province of Alberta and another seat in the Canadian capital Ottawa .
It reports extensively through numerous publications on important national and international topics such as defense, diplomacy, trade and developments.
