Canan Atilgan

Canan Atilgan (* 1968 in Ankara ) is a German political scientist .

Atilgan studied political science at the University of Frankfurt and wrote her dissertation in 2002 on the topic of Turkish diaspora in Germany: Opportunity or risk for German-Turkish relations . She works at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as head of the regional program "Political Dialogue South Caucasus". Before that, she was the European Policy Coordinator at the Foundation. Atilgan speaks German, English, Turkish, Arabic and Russian.
