Candy (unit)
The candy (pronounced: Kändi) was a measure of weight in Travancore , in front of India in today's state of Kerala , a province of the former Madras presidency . The difference in measure was determined by the different pound measures Rattel and Putur .
- 1 candy = 30 tulama = 600 putur / pound = 271 kilograms
- 1 candy = 20 Maund / Mahnd = 500 rattel / pound = 227 kilograms
