Sara Algotsson-Ostholt , née Sara Algotsson (born December 8, 1974 in Kalmar , Kalmar län ) is a Swedish eventing rider who has lived in Germany since 2008.
Career
Sara Algotsson-Ostholt was part of the Swedish team at an international championship for the first time in 1999. She has participated in three Olympic Games so far (2004, 2012 and 2016). Outstanding success in her career was winning the individual silver medal with Wega at the 2012 Olympic Games .
Private
Algotsson-Ostholt comes from an equestrian family. Her sister Linda is also a successful eventing rider.
She is married to the German eventing rider Frank Ostholt and has a daughter with him.
