Capco , trading as The Capital Markets Company NV , is a global management and technology consultancy for the financial services industry. Capco's more than 5,000 professionals offer consulting expertise and services for complex technology transformation and managed services. Capco is focused on helping companies innovate and grow sales, manage risk and regulatory changes, and reduce and control costs. Capco has 27 offices in Europe, North and South America and Asia.

history

The Belgian entrepreneur Rob Heyvaert founded Capco in 1998 as The Capital Markets Company NV with offices in Antwerp, London, New York and Frankfurt. In 2010, Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), a provider of banking and payment technology, acquired Capco. The founder Rob Heyvaert left Capco in 2015. His successor as CEO was Lance Levy. In 2017, FIS sold the majority of Capco to Clayton, Dublier and Ross, a private equity firm based in New York. FIS continued to retain a minority stake of 40% in the company. The locations in the German-speaking countries are in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Vienna and Zurich.

Products and services

The company offers services with a focus on banking, payments, capital markets, asset management, insurance, and finance, risk and compliance. In the USA there is also a division that looks after customers in the energy sector. Capco's global headquarters are in London. The company has 27 offices in leading financial centers in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
