Capo Gallo

Capo Gallo is a cape on the north coast of Sicily in the north-west of Palermo . The cape is an offshoot of Monte Gallo , which lies between Palermo's districts of Mondello and Sferracavallo .
The Capo Gallo is the western end of the Gulf of Palermo , the eastern end of which forms the Capo Zafferano .
There is a lighthouse at the cape . The cape and its surroundings are under nature protection as Riserva naturale orientata Capo Gallo , the surrounding sea belongs to the area marina protetta Capo Gallo - Isola delle Femmine .
