Caravan Salon
The Caravan Salon is the world's largest exhibition for camping and caravanning. It has been held annually in Düsseldorf since 1994 , previously it was held at Messe Essen.
Around 550 international exhibitors show caravans and motorhomes , accessories, tents , mobile homes, camping equipment, camping and parking spaces as well as numerous destinations . The 2017 Caravan Salon had over 232,000 visitors, and 203,500 visitors in 2016.
A special feature of the Caravan Salon is the exhibition's own parking space for caravans and motorhomes, on which exhibition visitors can spend the night. Every year around 70,000 visitors stay overnight in their own vehicles in the Caravan Center at Messe Düsseldorf. There are more than 3500 supplied and unsupervised parking spaces on the large car park north of the exhibition center.
TourNatur , a hiking and trekking fair, has been taking place parallel to the Caravan Salon since 2003 .
In 2020 the Caravan Salon will take place from August 28th to September 6th.
