Carl Baxter (born November 28, 1985 in Winnipeg , Canada ) is an English badminton player of Canadian origin.

Career

Carl Baxter won two titles at school and youth championships in his original home country of Canada before moving to England and playing his way up to the national team. He won his first laurels for England at the Croatian International, where he won the men's individual competition. In 2010 he won bronze with the English team in the team competition at the Commonwealth Games. In the 2009/2010 season he was runner-up in the German Bundesliga with 1. BC Beuel. At the 2010 European Badminton Championships , Baxter finished fifth.
