Carl Jacob Kotzebue

Carl Jacob Kotzebue (* approx. 1793; † approx. 1862) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Carl Jacob Kotzebue was the son of the Hanoverian bailiff Albrecht David Kotzebue (1754–1838) of the Knesebeck office , later in the Zeven office . From 1811 he studied law at the University of Göttingen with interruptions due to the Wars of Liberation . In Göttingen he became a member of the Corps Hannovera . After completing his studies, he joined the administration of the Kingdom of Hanover. From 1834 to 1833 he was an official assessor in the Harburg office and from 1834 to 1840 in the Meinersen office . In 1848 Carl Jacob Kotzebue became a bailiff in Meinersen. He retired in 1853.
