Carla Nicholson (born May 20, 1966 in Bautzen ) is a German musical singer .

Life

Carla Nicholson, née Michalski, comes from a musical family, her father was a trumpeter , her mother a chorus singer . After graduating from high school, she began studying to be a teacher in Bautzen , but from 1985 she studied classical singing at the Leipzig University of Music . She had her first appearances as a singer in the Zwickau City Theater . From 1993 to 1999 she sang together with her husband Michael in the musical theater Neue Flora in Hamburg in the musicalThe Phantom of the Opera ”, which was shown for eleven years in over 4,500 performances with over seven million visitors all over Germany. Nicholson took on the lead role of Christine Daaé in about 600 performances .

Carla Nicholson is a supporter of the AfD . She works in the Bautzen AfD citizens' office and, as secretary, is a board member of the AfD Bautzen district association.
