Carlos Ocariz
Carlos Eduardo Ocariz Guerra (born May 1, 1971 ) is a Venezuelan politician and civil engineer . Since 2008 he has been the mayor of the Sucre district (part of Caracas ) in the state of Miranda . He is a senior politician in the Primero Justicia party .
Life
Ocariz was born in Maracay in 1971. His family moved to Caracas when he was a child. He studied engineering at the Universidad Metropolitana de Caracas from 1989 to 1994.
In 1998 Ocariz was elected as a MP. In 2008, he was elected Mayor of Sucre with 55.60% of the vote.
