Carlos Raygada

Carlos Raygada (born February 3, 1898 in Lima , † February 7, 1953 ) was a Peruvian literary and music critic.

Raygada attended the Colegio de los Maristas in Callao and studied at the University of North Carolina until 1941 . He worked as a critic for the daily newspapers La Prensa , La Crónica and El Peru and for the magazines Mercurio Peruano , Variadades , Mundial and Modern Music . From 1934 he was a critic of the magazine El Comercio . He was u. a. Member of the Academía Nacional de Música , the Instituto de Música Bach and the Asosciación de Artistas Aficionados and member of the artistic research center of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru .
