Carnation (Engl. The carnation ) is a Swiss rock band.
Band history
The band was founded in 2000 with five members. In 2003 her first album, Good Morning Evening, was released . With the two songs Finally here and Boy from another galaxy , the band achieved national fame for the first time. The two songs were played over and over by the local radio stations. After separating from their lead singer, the band, which is now still four, headed for Sweden to record their new songs. The trip to the north, which began in March 2005, was successful and in the same year the second album Waxy's Little Sister was released . In the following years the band moved more and more abroad. With gigs in England ( Liverpool ) and the USA ( New York City ), the band was able to gain experience and present itself to the world a little. In spring 2011 the band was disbanded.
